The name “VANORA” originates from Old Welsh, meaning “white wave.” Our mission is to set a new standard in hospitality at sea, elevating the level of luxury service for our esteemed guests, just as our yacht creates waves cruising through Thailand’s pristine coastlines. In keeping with this theme, each suite on board is named after the word “wave” in various languages.

Completed in October 2023, our yacht spans an impressive 52 meters, featuring a sturdy yet agile aluminum hull. Safety is our top priority, and we proudly uphold our classification as a Lloyd’s Register (LR) vessel. Powered by two robust Cummins KTA-50 engines, we achieve a cruising speed of 20 knots, making VANORA one of the fastest yachts navigating Thai waters.

Are there restrictions on the number of passengers and their age?

Yes, the number of passengers is limited by the yacht’s size and safety regulations. Age restrictions may also apply, particularly for young children or elderly passengers, depending on the trip. It’s recommended to consult the management company before departure.

What documents should I provide?

To rent a yacht, the following documents are usually required:

Identification: A valid passport or government-issued ID.
Driver’s License: If operating the yacht yourself (bareboat charter), you may need a boating license or certification.

What if there are bad weather conditions?

If weather conditions prevent you from going to sea, it is advisable to postpone the booking and arrange a new date with the management company.

Guest Insurance

Boat insurance covers injuries up to 500,000 THB. Guests are encouraged to seek medical attention immediately for any injuries. Loss or damage caused by negligence will be charged to the guest. Alcohol and drug consumption is discouraged, and incidents occurring under the influence may not be covered by insurance. Water activities conducted outside the boat are at guests’ own risk and are not covered by the insurance.

Reservation Deposit: A deposit is usually required to secure your booking, which may be non-refundable depending on the company’s policy.
Final Payment: The full payment is often required before the start of the trip, typically on the departure day.
Cancellation Policy: There are usually specific terms for cancellations, which may include forfeiture of the deposit or payment if the cancellation is made within a certain period before the booking date.
Passenger Limits: Adhere to the maximum number of passengers allowed on the yacht as per safety regulations.
Charter Agreement: You may need to sign a charter agreement outlining the terms and conditions of the rental.

Partial Refunds: If you cancel within a shorter timeframe, like 15 to 30 days before the trip, you might receive a partial refund, with the company retaining a portion of the payment as a penalty.
No Refunds: Cancellations made within a very short period, often within 1-3 days of the booking date, may result in no refund, with the entire payment being forfeited.
Weather Conditions: Some companies offer a full refund or rescheduling option if the trip is canceled due to unsafe weather conditions.
